Welcome to Jorkanon (East) Union Parishad

 Jorkanon (East) Union Parishad (UP) belongs to Sadar South Upazila of Comilla district. Alike other UP it is mandated to carry out 10 (ten) compulsory functions as maintenance of law and order, adoption and implementation of development schemes, promotion of family planning, use of local resources, protection and maintenance of public property, registration of births and deaths, conducting censuses of all kinds etc. for the local peoples. Through this website we are trying to make available some information regarding UP and its activities, information about the service providers and/or links of the same, information on various services such as agriculture, health, land registration, government forms, etc. We also attempt to digitize some of the documents/forms of UP.  This website has been developed under an experimental project “E-Parisahd for Better Service Delivery in Rural Areas” being implemented by Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD).
